Antenatal care is the care you receive from healthcare professionals during your pregnancy. It is best to have doctors whom have had experience with pregnant women to care for during this time.
Dr Naomi Eisenberg has furthered her studies with a Diploma in Obstetrics and provides “shared care“.
What is shared care?
When choosing shared care, you will:
- have most of your pregnancy care at Southland Medical Centre with Dr. Naomi Eisenberg, who has extra training in pregnancy care;
- see the same doctor, so you can build a relationship with your doctor and can continue to see her after your baby is born;
- choose the day and time of most of your antenatal check-ups, subject to Dr. Eisenberg’s availability;
- potentially have fewer hospital visits.
