Flu Vaccine 2018

Last years flu season, according to the Government, was “horrific”. 745 deaths because of flu were recorded, with 90% of those being over the age of 65. Our advice? Get yourself vaccinated between April and June to best prepare yourself for the flu this year.

Bowel Cancer Screening Program Kit

The National Bowel Cancer Screening Program (NBCSP) invites eligible people starting at age 50 and continuing to age 74 (without symptoms) to screen for bowel cancer using a free, simple test at home. If you have received the kit at home, we encourage you to use it.

BreastScreen Victoria offers free breast screens to women aged between 50 and 74 every 2 years. It is easy to book an appointment online.

Free Meningococcal Vaccine for MSM

There has been an increase in the number of confirmed cases of meningococcal C disease in Victoria, mostly in men who have sex with men (MSM). A free vaccine program for MSM is available from 11 December 2017 until 30 June 2018.
